about the photographer

Andréa e Silva

Nationally and internationally awarded photographer, Andréa e Silva participated in five group exhibitions in Brazil. She has published works in magazines, books, artist websites, NatGeo YourShot, and the Sony World Photography Awards blog.

A lover of photographic art since childhood, it was in 2016, when she turned 40, that she decided to dedicate herself deeply to the subject. She uses natural light and candid scenes most of the time, looking for the poetry inherent in what she sees: be it a beautiful sunset, wildlife in freedom, or the human being beside her. Her photography is guided by what moves her.
